A few points to consider when choosing a decorator:-

Before you decide to hire the least expensive decorator you can find, please consider that the lowest price may not be the best value.  West End Decorators Ltd uses only quality trade paint and decorating products.  All our tradesmen are time-served painters and decorators, full experienced in the correct preparation of surfaces and the application of all painting and decorating products.

Does your chosen decorator have premises you can visit?  If not, do they provide you with a land-line contact telephone number that can be traced?  We are often called out to rectify faulty workmanship by "painters" who were originally contacted via mobile telephones and who later cannot be traced or contacted again.

Ask your potential contractor if they are members of any trade associations.

Before you consider "doing-it-yourself" please remember that painting can be hazardous work, whether it's working on a ladder or dealing with solvents and dust. By using a professional contractor you do not have to worry about these problems.
